My Review: 4 Stars

This is such a darling and fun Christmas story that will really put a reader in a holiday mood. Bell is a secret elf, one that brings the Christmas spirit to those on her list. Drake is a tough one to crack, as he shows up year after year on the list.

Bell is the sweetest person ever. She is so selfless and cheerful. I don't know how she is able to put her disappointments and fears aside so easily, so that she may lift the burden of others, but she does, time and time again. I love the friendship she shares with Jamie and enjoyed the way they would help each other. Drake is a little rough around the edges, with his heartaches of the past, but he's a marshmallow on the inside. I loved getting to know him better through Jamie's eyes and seeing him melt a little.

I love a novella that can progress through critical elements in a book, while feeling complete when it's finished and this one delivers. It would make a darling movie! There are moments of conflict, emotion, despair, hope, joy, laughter, and fun. I'm hoping there's more to unwrap in this Christmas Magic series.
