How to Get Over Your Ex in Ninety Days

• Break off all contact for ninety days.
• Stay away from social media.
• Remember all the things you liked to do when you were single and revisit those activities.
• Think carefully about starting any new romantic attachments.
• Wine, lots of wine. No, don’t. It could end badly.
• Be mindful of anxiety and feelings of hopelessness.
• Remind yourself it takes ninety days for your mind to switch gears and picture your life in a new direction.

Presley Benson thinks she found the perfect plan to get over her ex-boyfriend, Jackson Montgomery. All she needs is ninety days. There’s a problem, though. Jackson Montgomery is the newly appointed vice principal of Riverton High School where she teaches drama.

And oh yeah, he wants her back.

So what’s a girl to do? Stick with the plan of course.

My Review: 5 Stars

I feel like I just conquered a tall mountain peak after reading this story! The journey was long and hard, but that ending was soooo worth it!

Presley is madly in love with Jackson and thinks the feeling is mutual...until he dumps her. How in the world can you get over someone when you work with him and see him every single day? Her best friend reads an online article and hatches a plan that will free Presley from her love in 90 days.

I love how this story is written in first person. I think all of this author's books are written that way and it really connects me to the characters in an intimate way. I feel like they are sharing thoughts and events with me, personally, and I become so emotionally invested in the book--a book hangover is what I end up with! Presley was especially easy for me to relate to. I can be quick to assume, slow to get over things, stubborn, and a little unreasonable and that's just how Presley is. I think we would be BFFs if she was real.

Jackson is dreamy. But seriously...what was he thinking?! There were times when I wanted to knock some sense into him and other times when I wanted to tell Presley to just get over it and jump into that swoony man's arms! He's loyal to a fault; he's persistent; he's smart; he's patient.

I love the Southern charm that exudes from the pages.. Jackson's grandma is the typical sweet and busybody lady and I adored her, as well as several other fantastic secondary characters. This story is full of emotion, sass, chemistry, and fun and I loved every second of it.

Content: mild language; mild romance (kissing, some innuendo).
