My Review: 5 Stars

I adore this series and each book can stand alone. Harper is a divorce attorney with a somewhat bitter attitude towards love and marriage, with good reason. The opposing counsel on her most current case is hottie, Gabriel, who is positive and believes in second chances. A misunderstanding lands both of them at the same cabin for the Christmas holiday. In a style reminiscent of a Hallmark Christmas movie, the sparks and chemistry between these opposites ignites into a sweet and festive story.

I like to think I'm a fairly positive person, although I do have my moments, so it was hard not to be frustrated with Harper's uptight ways. I wanted her to unwind and go with the flow and as the story progressed, she did loosen up a bit. Gabriel is very chill and I think they're a good balance for each others personalities.

The romance is very quick, almost instant, but it totally works for me in this book. Sometimes those sparks flame up into something more with the magic of the holidays. Although this book is short, less than 100 pages, it feels complete and has all of the elements of a great story. If you like clean Christmas romances, you're sure to love this one.

Content: mild romance (swoony kissing)
