My Review: I really loved this one and thought it was just darling! Jace was the passionless boyfriend in the previous book and this one was all about him. Something seemed to be holding him back from his relationship with Eden and I kept wondering what (or who) it was. We find out why in this book--Cambri. Cambri runs at the first sign of trouble and seems to do so over and over again. She's scared and wants to protect herself. I loved watching her learn about herself and seeing her grow up and mature. Not everyone reaches that point by the time they're an adult (18).
Jace was fabulous in this book! He's a manly man who loves to work hard and help others. I loved how selfless he is, even when it's hard for him to be that way. The way he handled running into Drew and Eden especially proved what a great man he is. He's had his heart broken, yet when it comes down to it, he'll do what he needs to do, even if it gets broken again.
And a side note--I loved Cambri's grumpy father--he's a marshmallow underneath all that crust.
