My Review: I've seen this book around for awhile now and never really had much of an interest in it because Sci-Fi isn't my favorite genre. Imagine my surprise when I decided to choose it for my Book Club choice and found that I absolutely loved it! You might ask why I chose it and it's simple really--I love Fairy Tales and I've heard that this is a fantastic series! 

I loved the spin the author put on the classic, Cinderella. There are similarities, but Ms. Meyer really made it her own story. I believe that 3/4 of the series is out and the last one has been announced for next year and I loved seeing some of the future characters briefly shown in the story. 

The thing I loved the most was seeing the friendship and camaraderie between Cinder, Iko, and Peony. Their relationships were so sweet and it was obvious that they all lived for it.

Cinder is a tough cookie and she had more guts and courage than I'd ever hope to have. I loved watching the story play out and can't wait to see what happens next. Yes, it ended on a mild cliffhanger.

Content: there were a few mild swear words; some mild violence (mainly due to what happened when people died); mild romance.
