My Review: 4 Stars
This is a companion story to The Daring One and you'll want to read that one first, as the reader is treated to glimpses of Byron in that book. Marissa and Byron were once in love--until she dumped him and his wandering eye. Three years later, at a wedding, they meet again and the truth comes out.
In this short, yet charming story, I felt like I really got to know Byron and what makes him tick. I also felt he got an ending to his life story, as I felt like he was hanging a bit in The Daring One. Marissa makes a brief appearance earlier and I really loved getting to know here better.
As always, I love a cute romance, even if it is on the shorter side. This is a quick bite of happy that can be read in a sitting and let me tell you, I definitely enjoyed it.
