Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon Day 2 Update

Phew! My parents' peach tree produced a ton of juicy, delicious fruit and I spent a huge chunk of the day canning, freezing, and eating peaches. What are some other good ideas of things to do with peaches?

Today's challenge is "Favorite Author." Um...I have way too many to choose from, but I'm going to go with the one I'm currently reading--Susan Hatler. I'm reading her newest release, 'Twas the Kiss Before Christmas and it's so cute! She's a favorite clean read author with darling characters.

TACKLE YOUR TBR READ-A-THON 2019 RECAP

Wow. I totally bombed the challenge this year! This was one of the busiest weeks I've had in awhile and I failed all of my goals, haha.

• I didn't do a daily update.
• I read TWO books.
• I only read 249 pages.
• I didn't visit any participants.
• I hardly made a dent in my pile, but...there's always next year!

How did you do?

Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon Final Update

I'm totally embarrassed and a bit defeated, haha. I'm a youth leader for my church and we had a big retreat this past weekend, where I got just a smidgen of sleep. Combine that with all the fun activities and everything that I had to do at home to catch up, not a lot of reading happened. I completely failed on my goals, too! Yikes! And did I update every day? Nope! But I had fun and I guess my priorities shifted a little during the end of the read-a-thon. How did you do? Anyway...here are my stats:

DAY 7 - 9/23

Total Books Read: 4.5
Total Pages Read: 905
Finished Books: Political Parties, Rule #3: You Can't Kiss Your Best Friend, Rule #2: You Can't Crush on Your Sworn Enemy, Seeking Mr. Dependable, and half of Around the World in 80 Days

GOALS:
Visited all participants: NO (sorry)
Participated in at least 3 challenges: YES (cover love, colors, initials)

Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon Wrap-Up

And it's a wrap! The Tackle your TBR read-a-thon, hosted by Wishful Endings,

is now finished.

MY RECAP:

I wanted to read at least 8 books and barely managed to do that.

I wasn't able to get to all of the books on my list

because I had a couple of books creep up that I couldn't resist.

I didn't visit all of the participants. In fact, I barely visited any of them!

Shame on me.

I wanted to participate in at least 5 challenges and I think I ended up

doing 4, which isn't too bad.
