What a delightful set of clean romance stories! I love it when a collection builds on a story and this one delivers. Each story revolves around a wedding set to take place on Christmas Eve at a gorgeous ski resort in Lake Placid, NY. Each little novella tells the story of different characters, but they're all connected and make appearances in other books, which I loved.

We start with The Kiss. Julie is ready to be the bride and live a perfect happily ever after...until she runs into her old boyfriend, Austin. Events happen to cause Julie to reconsider what she thinks is her dream and to fully examine her heart. I admire Julie and loved her determination. She's not one to shy away from the hard stuff in life, yet she is so generous. My heart was warmed by her thoughtful actions.

Next up, we get The Wish. Grace is a wedding planner, who works for the ski lodge. She also works closely with Nico, the former TV chef and heartthrob. While coordinating this wedding and the event encompassing it, she slips and hurts her ankle. Badly. Nico comes to the rescue! He's got the perfect setup for caring for an injured crush and he's very determined to show her just how much he cares. Grace is a bit stubborn, but still so sweet. I couldn't help but fall for Nico myself--what a dashing and chivalrous man.

We end this collection with The Promise. Alexis, the maid of honor, finally shows up, only to run into Julie's cousin, her ex-boyfriend, Liam. Things ended years before on a very bad note, but Liam is determined to show uptight lawyer, Alexis, that he's changed--he's not the same old, big-headed, football player who he once was. Who wants to be burned again? Not Alexis. She's determined to avoid Liam at all costs, but he's equally determined to get in her way.

This collection is a great Christmas romance to really put you in the mood for the holidays and I loved each story equally. Each tale is different, yet connected in ways that really ties things together.

Content: some mild language; kissing. Clean!
