Romance at the Christmas Tree Lot by Marcia Lynn McClure {Review}

Romance at the Christmas Tree Lot by Marcia Lynn McClure
Published December 15th 2014
Contemporary Holiday Romance
My Rating: 5 Stars

Description:

Mayvee couldn’t keep from giggling. The fact that this tall, dark, and handsome Christmas tree shopper was at the lot to buy a Christmas tree for his grandparents was endearing enough on its own. But add to it the fact that he’d paid enough attention to his grandma’s Christmas ornaments to know she liked Radko ornaments was just too adorable!

When Craig had called her over to help a new customer, Mayvee hadn’t expected to see a guy so classically handsome that he looked like he’d stepped straight out of Hollywood’s Silver Screen era. But at the same time, he was more rugged-looking than any truly manly-man she’d ever seen.

Mayvee works at her family's Christmas tree lot and is a spunky bundle of fun. She's got a great personality and is pretty, too. She also has a side business of decorating trees for people, especially the elderly. Kord is a dashing, ruggedly handsome man, buying a tree for his grandparents this year and just can't resist Mayvee's charms.

This is a very short and sweet Christmas romance without a lot of conflict. I love the references to the nostalgic things of Christmas and of course, the romance is swoony. As always, I love the snippets at the back and the bonus recipe included sounds so yummy.

I always enjoy this author's full-length novels, but this one is perfect for the busy holiday season and a great escape for a cold winter's night.

Content: a few cuss words; kissing. Clean!
