There's more to this Aussie cowboy than meets the eye.

Former grad student Eliza works as a nanny for a self-absorbed trophy wife looking to trade up for a new husband and ditch her child. Eliza will do anything to protect the little girl and open her boss’s eyes. Even if it requires an elaborate hoax.

Then fate hits Eliza with Henry, a bewildered, dirty guy at the bus station. He’s got amazing teeth, cowboy swagger, and an accent to swoon for. Everything is falling into place for a rags-to-riches-style bait and switch. But will it deliver a slice of humble pie to Eliza’s boss—or get Eliza fired?

Worse, refining him might mean losing her heart.

My Fair Aussie is another hilarious contemporary romance from bestselling author Jennifer Griffith. This twist on the classic musical My Fair Lady is a STANDALONE clean romantic comedy with a guaranteed HEA. Fans of authors Victorine Lieske and Jennifer Peel will fall in love with My Fair Aussie.

My Review: 5 Stars

Right from the moment that I read the book description, I was captivated and wondered how in the world Ms. Griffith would not only pull off a gender switch from a classic story, but have the guy be an Australian cowboy. Let me tell you--she's magic! She totally did it and I loved every minute of it.
Eliza is working on her PhD and is a nanny for the darling child of a spoiled rotten brat. You'd think PhD would equal super smart, but she is hilariously clueless, which made me adore her. Her intentions are noble and she's very sweet, but she had me laughing at her misunderstandings. As for Henry, he's the real deal and total package and I couldn't help but to love him--especially that accent.

The way the story comes together is very humorous and as it progresses, there are pops of romantic sparks that will put a butterfly or two in your stomach. There are characters to love and characters to hate, but it's all written in a way that is deliciously gripping. Griffith has a talented for using words that really evoke emotion and the feel-goods that will leave a smile on your face. I honestly let out a little squeal of excitement when I see that she has a new book coming out and this one is definitely worth the read.

Content: mild romance (with an attempted affair)
