My Review:
If you're looking for a clean, fast-paced story about some teens with super powers (involving electricity), then this is the series for you. Book 3 picked up right where Book 2 left off. This is not a stand-alone, in my opinion. To fully understand the situation Michael Vey and his friends find themselves in and the battle they face, you need to read the first two books first.

While I enjoyed this one, it wasn't my favorite of the three so far. I know there will be another one because of the teaser ending, but I'm not sure how many will be in the series.

I love the fact that these books have so much fantasy and action, yet they aren't graphic--they are good, wholesome fun. That's a big plus for me, as a parent. I know my kids would read them and I wouldn't have to worry about content.

What I like the most about Michael Vey is that he is not perfect. He's not the typical popular jock who has everything going for him. He uses his brains to get in and out of situations and he is a friend to all. He suffers from Tourette's and doesn't seem to make friends really easily--until now.

I love all the powers that these characters have and how they compliment each others talents.

Content: some violence, but nothing else that stood out. Clean.
