My Review: 4.5 Stars

Finding love on Maui? Yes, please! June's two best friends are either engaged or close to being engaged and June is lonely....but not for long. Lance, their bungalow neighbor, has an almost instant connection with June.

I love the characters. Lance is charming and sincere, while June is more reserved and lacks confidence. Together, they are able to complement each other in ways they never dreamed possible, as they discover from the first date. I love how open they are with each other.

Although this story is short and sweet, a lot of chemistry and relationship-building is packed into the pages. This is a perfect tropical escape when a reader is short on time. It's like having a little snack of deliciously rich chocolate--leaves you satisfied, but longing slightly for just a little more. I know this series is short, but I would have loved to have this one play out for a few more chapters. This series is worth picking up if you have a minute.

Content: mild romance (kissing, some light innuendo)

*I received a copy from the author, which didn't influence my thoughts in any way. All opinions are my own.*
