Welcome to Author's Corner hosted by Bookworm Nation, Katie's Clean Book Collection and KJ's Book Nook!
Once a month we will feature either a favorite author or new to us
author. We will share the author's bio, one of our favorite books of
theirs and a review. Each of us will be featuring a different author
each month so there will also be links to each of our posts.
For this month's Author's Corner I am going to choose...
Heather B. Moore
Heather B. Moore is a USA Today bestselling author of more than a
dozen historical novels and thrillers, written under pen name H.B.
Moore. She writes women's fiction, romance and inspirational non-fiction
under Heather B. Moore. This can all be confusing, so her kids just

I've been reading Heather B. Moore's books for years! She writes
such a wide variety of books, from historical, to spy thrillers, to contemporary
romance, to YA dystopian. I know I can always count on her
to deliver fun, clean, and highly entertaining stories.
Two of my favorites of hers are:
The Lost King
Undercover
agent Omar Zagouri has been ordered to Giza. A prominent Egyptologist
was murdered, and a priceless artifact—the only complete version of the
Book of the Dead—is missing. Omar is still reeling from the recent
disappearance of his girlfriend, Mia Golding, but he puts his quest to
find her on hold to track down the lost piece of history.
Omar’s mission is not just to locate the sacred book; he must also rescue the two archaeologists kidnapped and forced to translate its hieroglyphics under threat of death. Their kidnapper is determined to discover the text’s rumored explosive revelation: that Moses did not receive the Ten Commandments from God but instead copied them from the Egyptians. Though Omar’s need to find Mia grows more urgent, he must focus on finding the enemy who will stop at nothing to ignite a controversy that will change history, and the world, forever.

An Ocean Away
Gina Graydon knows the last thing she’ll attract on her holiday in
France is an eligible bachelor. Tall, outspoken, and with a weakness for
laughing at the wrong moment, not to mention being much too occupied
with reading gothic romances, Gina decides she’d rather live in her
fictional world. Besides, the only man who pays attention to her at the
resort hotel happens to be her father’s worst enemy. And that is far
from romantic. Reading in a secluded garden, and dreaming about the
perfect kiss, all keep Gina much too busy to consider Mr. Edmund
Donaldson any sort of hero.
