My Review:

I didn't feel lost, even though I haven't read this series and this book is #2.5. Of course, I'm sure I would know and understand the characters better if I'd read the other books, but I thought it was a great snippet of what the series is about. 

Katy is a witch at a school that was designed for witches, but is now mixed with regular people. The "normal" people don't know about the witches. On a special fairy hunt night, Katy finds the treasure and is granted her wishes, but learns that wishes aren't always what they're cracked up to be. I was thinking about what I would wish for and I think my wishes, as any, would only lead to problems as well. Things are the way they are in our lives for a reason. 

There were a few surprises and turns that I didn't see coming. I thought the ending was just right for this type of story.

Content: a few swear words; some fantasy fighting violence that isn't graphic; kissing, with one scene that gets a little intense because of the wish. Clean.
