My Review: 
Taylour Dixxon is a lawyer in a smallish town and when a chance meeting leads her to representing a woman accused of murdering her husband, she finds herself in a race against time to solve the mystery.

I've often wondered, as I read murder mysteries, how I would feel if I happened to be a character in the story. I liked Taylour and her matter-of-fact ways, yet I could detect a glimmer of fear and uneasiness in her, which make her seem real to me and that much more likeable. She was a hard worker and so kind, especially when she helped her nephew out.

I really enjoyed the way the story came together. The mystery slowly unraveled and left the reader quickly turning pages to find out what really happened and why. I thought the author did a good job of engaging the reader, however, there were times when the characters didn't feel as much emotion as I thought they should have. Some things just seemed to be quickly brushed off and there were a couple of loose ends--one part of the ending felt a little abrupt. I enjoyed the dialogue and the writing style and look forward to reading more of this author's works.

Content: a murder and attempted murders without anything graphic; no language or intimate scenes; a brief reference to religion. Clean!!
