My Review:
I won this book in a giveaway over the summer and thought that it would be the perfect Halloween read. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish it before Halloween came and went, but close enough.

What an eerie, creepy tale that wasn't gory. I was amazed at how creative the story was and how it was woven together. Poor little Blake. His mom passed away when he was 4 years old and because he missed her so much, he taught himself how to separate his spirit from his body, so that he could search for her. What he didn't expect was for his body to be taken over by another spirit. When "Blake" was a senior in high school, his new step-sister was able to see the young spirit boy and discovered that her step-brother wasn't who he seemed to be.

There were times that I wasn't sure who was real and who wasn't. There were situations that Cathy found herself in that I truly wondered how she would get out and survive. I had no idea who she could trust and it had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the friendship she shared with Rich. I loved how she was able to look past the obvious physical limitations that Rich suffered from and see him for who he really was. She was a girl who was really secure with who she was.

Blake (or shall I say, Zared?). My heart went out to that little spirit boy, who called himself Bunny, because of the things he had to witness. However, I was shocked at how evil the spirit was who took over the body. Purely evil and scary.

I was enthralled with the story and loved how it all worked out.

Content: a couple of mild swear words; some violence; talk of porn and drug use, but portrayed as being bad and negative.
