My Review: Thunder and turf!!! I loved this book!! It almost had a Jane Eyre feeling to it (and that is one of my all-time favorite books), yet it was different enough that it wasn't a copycat.

Emma Smallwood's father is a tutor, who used to run a school for boys. When a family fails to send their younger two sons to the school, they contact the family to see if they want their sons tutored in-house and the offer is accepted. What Emma and her father don't expect to find is a very chilly reception. The two older sons come home for some family business and there are some very strange happenings going on.

I love how tender Emma is, despite her very prim and organized way. I was going back and forth with myself in rooting for the guy--who should I choose? There were some slower parts, but I still found myself enjoying them a lot.
