Book Review: The Next Door Boys by Jolene B. Perry

My Review: I can't imagine what Leigh went through--cancer at such a young age and now she wants to live her life as a normal college student. I love how normal Leigh is--she really grows and develops through the course of the book, which is basically her first year of college. She starts out thinking she knows it all and wants to do things on her own, but realizes that she needs help and friends. She especially realizes that love isn't always the way you think it is.

Speaking of friends, I loved the friendship that these neighbors all share. They look out for one another and help in anyway they can. Jaron and Leigh share such a special sibling bond. I only wished for more concerning the brother, Joseph. I understand there's a sequel, so maybe he'll be some more time in that one.

Content: Fairly frequent mention of LDS church; kissing; brief mention of an ex who uses/deals drugs. Clean.
