Brian put his long, toned arm around her shoulders.
Moira was startled by his touch, not because she wasn't expecting it, but because of the
way it made her feel. She felt a jolt of adrenaline at his gentle yet firm touch. She couldn't keep her head clear with his body so close to her side. Her breathing became labored; she had to force herself to breathe. She tripped over her own feet and almost fell to the ground. Brian caught her, his brow furrowed in concern.
What’s wrong with me? she thought, feeling her face flush with heat. That was really peculiar. I must be tired from my walk here, she decided.
