Description: At thirty two, Kelli Bryant is ready to take on the world, and Chandler Media, as the new Marketing Director, but her plans are derailed when her promotion is given to none other than Ian Greyson, Kelli’s old college flame, her one true love and the one man she hoped to never see again.

Between Kelli’s determination to remain on top and Ian’s strict new office policies, there’s no shortage of fireworks in the office. Their explosive relationship spills over into their personal lives as Kelli tries to keep Ian at arm’s length and Ian desperately tries to win her back (during off hours only, of course).

Professional Boundaries is a clean romance filled with fun and humor. It is a story of two professionals who just can't keep it professional.

My Review: Kelli and Ian have a history together--they dated in college and things didn't end well. Nope, not at all. When Ian is given her promotion and becomes her boss, Kelli becomes more determined than ever to stay away and to protect her heart at all costs.

I couldn't help but feel sorry for Kelli. Her heart was shattered and then here comes the guy with the hammer, when she least expected it. It's sad, but true--I could understand where she was coming from. Kelli overreacted quite often when it came to Ian and I am guilty of overreaction, too. She knows he's a pretty uptight guy, who really loves rules and propriety, so when he asks her to call him "Mr. Greyson" at the office, she refuses to call him anything else. She just won't separate business and pleasure. She sometimes came off as being too mean, but she had very good reason for doing so. I wish she could have let go of the past a little easier, but when a heart it invested, that's not an easy task.

Ian was stiff and proper, almost to the point of being cold at times, yet he, too, has his reasons. I wish he would've handled things better in the past, but who doesn't make a few mistakes along the way? He made some assumptions that cost him dearly, but now he's back and trying to win Kelli over again. This task proves to be more difficult than driving a car without a steering wheel. He was very sweet, good looking, patient, and persistent.

This story had all of the elements that I love best in a romance--it was fun with great characters, clean with sparks, drew me right in, had misunderstandings with humor and emotion, and a second chance at love. I'm definitely reading more by this author--I've found a new favorite!

Content: Clean romance (kissing); mild language (two mild words); no violence or religious elements.

About the Author:
Jennifer PeelI'm a fifth generation Colorado native who currently calls Alabama home. I'm the mother of three amazing children who have grown up way too fast. I enjoy the mountains, vacations at the beach, date night with my wonderful husband, late night talks with my kiddos, touring model homes, and pink bubblegum ice cream.

I grew up on the Western Slope in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. I learned to love the beauty of the outdoors, but not camping--unless staying overnight at the Marriott counts. I met my husband while living in Denver and then several years later we traded the beauty and majesty of the Colorado Rocky Mountains for the art and culture of Chicago, Illinois. My family and I enjoyed living near this world class city, despite the crazy cold winters, but new adventures awaited in Northern Alabama--just six hours away from Orange Beach, Alabama. These three magical places (the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Chicago, and Orange Beach) are the inspired locations used in several of my books.
