My Review: Nothing Serious
is a darling book filled with humorous situations, misunderstandings, and quirky characters. While there was some romance, it was very minor and I would have liked to have seen more--just a few more sweet, clean kisses. Paige is a woman who is so addicted to her electronic devices and social media, she doesn't know how to converse in the real world. After being jilted by an online potential love interest on a dating site, she literally rips the modem out of the wall and runs away to a small, historic town. She assumes way too much and jumps to too many conclusions, which leads to a lot of funny situations.
Jonathan is a good guy, yet hesitant and suspicious by nature. He likes to live his life behind the scenes and low-key and Paige is constantly throwing a wrench into those plans.
I love the supporting characters as well--Bon, Maddie, and a mysterious man.
Witty dialogue, fun storyline with a little mystery involved, in a unique setting.
