Mary will be turning thirty soon, and with each passing year she roots herself more firmly in her old-fashioned ways and traditional notions of courtship. She is determined to get married and start a family… but only if she meets the perfect man: one who can wait for her.

Kurt Cutler is divorced and tired of life in the big city. Sure, he has his billion-dollar tech start-up and all the freedom that big money can offer. But, is money enough? Will his past keep Kurt from having the one thing he has always wanted?

Mary Delaney and Kurt Cutler only met two days ago, but happily-ever-after already feels close within their reach. Download Maplewood in Love to find out if they can move from first kiss to forever in this fast-paced short read.

My Review: 4 Stars

I loved this in-between story of Mary and Kurt. Book One shows how they meet and Book Two shows them after their relationship is developed, as it focuses on Mary's sister, Anna, who is also Kurt's employee.

This novella is intense and quick, yet it accurately portrays the way this couple quickly melted for each other and moved past those awkward firsts. I more fully appreciated their personalities and relationship as I devoured this charming bridge. It's a great connector to the two books in the series, but it does end quite abruptly.

Kurt and Mary are great characters, completely opposite, but yet, perfectly compatible. Mary's slightly old-fashioned ways are a great complement to Kurt's modern, worldly ways, and his socks are charmed right off his feet.

I definitely recommend reading Christmas on Maplewood Mountain first, then follow this one with Return to Maplewood.

Content: mild romance
