My Review: 4.5 Stars
I would like to consider myself an honorary member of this beautiful group of friends. It's hard to move to a new place and find where you fit in and I love the way this group fully embraced Sara as she did just that, allowing her to find a "family" within her church group. These interconnected relationships felt real and drew me in immediately.
The writing style vividly portrays the tight-knit friendship that binds this group together through thick and thin. I love the way they use their experiences to strengthen and support each other. The sentiments are very powerful and propel the plot forward--I couldn't stop reading and had to know how it would all end, even through the ugly and uncomfortable parts.
This author is new to me, but I really enjoy her approach to telling a compelling tale and would definitely read more of her books.
Content: mild romance; moderate/heavy Christian themes/elements
