My Review: 4 Stars
Sometimes I live in a fictional world and I love discovering new places. I want to move to Pine Valley, because not only does the setting sound fantastic, but there are good, solid people who live there. The cover exudes a comforting feel and the story wrapped its arms around me in a warm hug. This is the life, people.
Alicia has big issues with her hoarding mother, but she is such a sweet daughter. Alicia is loyal and someone who I want to be friends with. Jeff, her best friend from growing up, made a major hormonal mistake back in high school and they parted ways, but sometimes life dishes out a second chance. Not only is Jeff trying to make amends, but he's shaping up to be a more prominent figure in her life than ever before and I kind of swooned over him, along with Alicia.
The small-town charm oozes out of this one and really makes me want to discover a place such as this in real life. I loved the characters and setting and can't wait to find out what other romances are waiting to happen in Pine Valley. Don't worry--I'll be back soon for another visit.
