by Amanda Salisbury
In Moon Mail and Star Kisses, a loving adult and child must be separated for a little while. The adult promises the child to send greetings and kisses through the night sky, shared no matter the distance of place or time apart. The moon, the stars, and a person’s love are bright and constant even when they cannot be seen.
My Review: What a darling book! I loved the illustrations and how
they flowed between the pages. They were done in a colorful, engaging way. The pictures really spark the
imagination and are so vivid. My favorite illustration was the pages
with the moon cycles.
The words and the pictures go together so well.
The words are very tender and lyrical, and move at a great pace for a young child.
It's a sweet book with a sweet message and perfect for a parent and
child to read together. I really love the idea of moon mail and star kisses!
My Rating: 5/5 Stars
