Description: Falling hard never felt so good.

Pair skaters Courtney and Mark have one shot left at their Olympic dream. They vow not to let anything get in their way, especially not Josh and Stephanie, the wealthy and talented brother and sister team.

The heart doesn’t always listen to reason, though...

The more time Courtney spends with sweet, shy Josh, the harder she falls for him. But they are on opposite sides of the competition, and their futures are headed in opposite directions. Will their friendship blossom into more or are their paths too different to cross?

My Review: Courtney and Mark and on the verge of realizing their Olympic dream when they find out their competition will now be training with them. Emotions run high and the stakes are higher, but you can't always choose the person you'll fall in love with, as Courtney soon learns. The author did a fantastic job of portraying the joys and disappointments and the overall feelings associated with the sport. I was very, very emotional invested in this story! I loved entering the wold of competitive ice skating and realized there's more to it than just a few minutes of competition.

As for the characters, they were great! They were so well-written, emotionally driven, and realistic. I loved the chemistry and romance, and although it almost got too hot in spots, it stayed clean. This is a great addition to the New Adult genre.

Courtney knows what she wants, she just struggles with allowing herself to have it. The what-ifs take over and she falls into the trap of doubt. I really liked how dedicated she was to her sport and her partnership with Mark. She's such a good friend to Sergei and Em and their children.

Josh almost seems too good to be true. He's so sweet and shy, not to mention good-looking and kind--completely opposite of his partner and sister, Stephanie. He's the type of person who makes up his mind and is steady and persistent, and very patient. He is so thoughtful, unselfish, and awesome!

Content: moderate language; no violence; lots of romance--kissing, a couple of intense make-out sessions, and one time when the boundaries were really pushed, but they were interrupted and it stayed on the clean side. Clean for an older reader.
