My Review: 4 StarsI've wanted to take a trip to the Oregon coast forever! The charm of the small sea towns with their stoic lighthouses sounds so dreamy and this story threw me right there to the ocean and in the midst of a second chance historical romance.I can't imagine being in a shipwreck, let alone being rescued by the man whom I loved and lost, but that's just what happened to Charlotte. In a tale of forgiveness, self-discovery, and small-town appeal, I was drawn into this sweet historical story and loved to vividly picture this story as it unfolded. The characters are delightful and the work of a keeper is exhausting. This book does follow a prequel, The Keeper's Sacrifice, and can stand on its own, but a richer understanding is given to the reader who dives into the prequel first.Content: mild violence/moments of peril; mild romance
