  1. I haven't played an April Fool's joke (because I can't keep a straight face!), but I heard about a mother who made her kids think they woke up late in the morning so they had to frantically rush around to get ready for school, only to find out they were actually early.

  2. A bucket of melted chocolate and spoons. It was a prank some old friends played on a guy. They spalshed him with chcolate, thenhtye made everyone take a spoon and hunt him for the treat.

  5. I have had a lot played on me actually, like my friends pretending they couldn't understand the language I was speaking (actually quite scary after a while) but I have yet to play a prank on someone :)

  8. I haven't, but my uncle played one on my mom when he called her to say his ex-wife had him thrown in jail and he needed her to bail him out. When he said April Fool's after he got her all panicked, my sisters and I were shocked to hear her call him a bad word before she hung up on him. :D

    1. My son used to joke about everything on April Fools. "The toilet is flooding" and immediately--April Fools! "The window is open! April Fools." etc. It was funny for a minute, but got old really fast.

  16. no i'm not very inventive and the whole what goes around comes around and karma thing would hit me hard as my friends like to pull pranks and people who've pulled pranks on them i do not want to be on the receiving end

  17. I haven't played an Aprils' prank since I was a kid. Think the last one I did was put sugar in the salt shaker which upset my dad, he didn't think it was funny at all.

    1. It's so hard to keep a straight face!! My big prank was to check my 4.0 student's grades and tell her she had a B. She freaked out, but I couldn't hold a straight face, so she figured it out immediately. :)

  22. When I was younger I secured the faucet sprayer with a rubberband. My mom turned the sink on and got soaked.

    1. I agree, but I think food jokes are so much fun! My kids love having "mashed potatoes with gravy" for dinner (vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. :)

    pulled off was in high school when i put
    a Whoopee Cushion on my teacher's chair.
    She wasn't too happy about it
    but it made everyone in my class laugh.

  37. The kids played one on me this year...they removed all the lightbulbs...so when I woke up...no light. I thought the power was out so went to check our box...all was on and working. They got me! :)

  54. I can't think of any great ones, but at my previous job I was a retail manager and I almost always had to close. We had this really ugly cat that was leftover from Halloween, and I used to love leaving it in the safe at night to scare the opening manager. I would also leave fake rats in the registers too.

  70. A few years back some co-workers and I played an April Fools Day prank on our boss. We filled her office with a ton of balloons and streamers. She could barely get inside lol.
