I haven't played an April Fool's joke (because I can't keep a straight face!), but I heard about a mother who made her kids think they woke up late in the morning so they had to frantically rush around to get ready for school, only to find out they were actually early.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great joke! My kids are out of school tomorrow, so maybe I could trick them and make them forget they're not. :)
DeleteA bucket of melted chocolate and spoons. It was a prank some old friends played on a guy. They spalshed him with chcolate, thenhtye made everyone take a spoon and hunt him for the treat.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway!
How fun!! You're welcome. :)
DeleteOh, no way. Noooo way. (At least, not that I can recall!) I figure that these days, what goes around comes around. :p
ReplyDeleteGreat way of thinking!
DeleteNo, I never have, actually
ReplyDeleteNo worries at all!
DeleteNo, can't stand them. I was the only girl for a long time. So I took the brunt of all the time.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't sound like fun.
DeleteI have had a lot played on me actually, like my friends pretending they couldn't understand the language I was speaking (actually quite scary after a while) but I have yet to play a prank on someone :)
ReplyDeleteThat would be terrifying! I'd wondering what in the world was going on. How long did they keep it up for?
DeleteNo I have never played a prank , I can't stop myself from laughing :p
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to keep a straight face!
DeleteI've never played a prank, I could never figure out a good one.
ReplyDeleteI'm not very creative--it takes forever to think up something lame (for me). :)
DeleteI haven't, but my uncle played one on my mom when he called her to say his ex-wife had him thrown in jail and he needed her to bail him out. When he said April Fool's after he got her all panicked, my sisters and I were shocked to hear her call him a bad word before she hung up on him. :D
ReplyDeleteOh, no!! That's too funny!! I can understand that heart-pounding fear though.
DeleteI have never played a prank, I think it would be very mean!
ReplyDeleteMy son used to joke about everything on April Fools. "The toilet is flooding" and immediately--April Fools! "The window is open! April Fools." etc. It was funny for a minute, but got old really fast.
DeleteI am really not a pranster. I always left that to my Mother. She would get my Dad every year in a big way. She loved April Fool's Day!!!
ReplyDeleteI have some big pranksters in my family, too!
DeleteNo I have never played a prank on anyone.
ReplyDeleteThat's okay! My family has plenty of pranksters to cover the world--haha. :)
DeleteI have never played a prank on anyone
ReplyDeleteNo worries!! So many nice people around.
DeleteI haven't played a prank on anyone--I don't want them to reciprocate!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! It's easier to play the joke than it is to take it.
DeleteNo I've never really played an April fools joke
ReplyDeleteYou're too nice! :)
DeleteOne year I tried to fool my grandmother by saying I broke my arm!
ReplyDeleteOh, no!! Tried--I guess she didn't believe you?
DeleteNever played a prank!
ReplyDeleteAngela @ Angel's Guilty Pleasures
You really ARE an angel. :)
Deleteno i'm not very inventive and the whole what goes around comes around and karma thing would hit me hard as my friends like to pull pranks and people who've pulled pranks on them i do not want to be on the receiving end
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely easier to play the pranks than to have them played on you and things do have a way of coming back around.
DeleteI haven't played an Aprils' prank since I was a kid. Think the last one I did was put sugar in the salt shaker which upset my dad, he didn't think it was funny at all.
ReplyDeleteOh, no!! That wouldn't be a very funny prank, but kids are so good a them. :)
DeleteI usually don't play pranks because I'm always laughing about them so much that people figure out I'm joking!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to keep a straight face!! My big prank was to check my 4.0 student's grades and tell her she had a B. She freaked out, but I couldn't hold a straight face, so she figured it out immediately. :)
DeleteNo one played tricks on me and I was good - I didnt play any on anyone either. Seen lots on nasty one online tho
ReplyDeleteI had to stay off of social media for awhile because it was getting too out of control!
DeleteI haven't played any April Fools pranks. (I much prefer joining in book blog hops!) Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!! I much prefer bookish options to jokes, too. :)
DeleteI don't like being on the receiving end so I don't do pranks.
ReplyDeleteSame here!
DeleteWhen I was younger I secured the faucet sprayer with a rubberband. My mom turned the sink on and got soaked.
ReplyDeleteOh, no!! Was she okay with that?
DeleteThanks for the giveaway; I have never played an April Fools prank on anyone.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I love to play pranks with food--meatloaf "cupcakes" with colored mashed potato "frosting" for example. :)
DeleteI've never actually participated in an April Fool's day prank, but other people have played pranks on me!
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate that? I can be so gullible sometimes!
DeleteI don't do April Fools Day pranks.
ReplyDeleteYou're so nice!! I'm sure your friends and family appreciate it. :)
DeleteI don't do April Fools Day pranks.
ReplyDeleteI've never done an April fools prank before. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome!
DeleteApril Fool's are for kids. I don't do that stuff anymore.
ReplyDeleteTrue!! My fully grown brothers must be kids at heart still. :)
DeleteNah, not my kind of thing, April Fools Stuff... :)
ReplyDeleteI like a little tease or joke, but a lot of things I hear about are way too elaborate and mean!
DeleteI'm not big on April Fools Day pranks.
ReplyDeleteI agree, but I think food jokes are so much fun! My kids love having "mashed potatoes with gravy" for dinner (vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. :)
DeleteNo, I've never pulled a prank. I've been pranked though and didn't like it, thus the reason why I don't do it.
ReplyDeleteThat is SOOOO true!! It's not much fun being on the receiving end.
DeleteNo way. I have never played an April Fool's prank. I have been the recipient of a couple of minor ones, but have never had any serious ones being done.
ReplyDeleteMinor ones aren't too bad, but those big, mean ones...no thanks!
DeleteI am entering your Fool for Books Giveaway.
ReplyDeleteIt would be great to win a $10 Amazon gift code.
In response to your questions of
Have you ever played an April Fools prank?
If so, what's the best one you've done?
Yes the best April Fools’ Day prank that i have ever
pulled off was in high school when i put
a Whoopee Cushion on my teacher's chair.
She wasn't too happy about it
but it made everyone in my class laugh.
Thank you for having this giveaway.
That sounds like a great teenage prank! Thanks for entering!
DeleteNo, I think that most jokes are just mean.
ReplyDeleteA lot of them are, especially if they go on and on!
DeleteI have tried but never succeeded
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pull things off. At least, for me, it is. :)
DeleteI played only one joke in my life, on my husband, it was great :)
ReplyDeleteWahoo!! I hope he enjoyed it. :)
DeleteThe kids played one on me this year...they removed all the lightbulbs...so when I woke up...no light. I thought the power was out so went to check our box...all was on and working. They got me! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh...that's sneaky of them! I hope you weren't too mad. It seems that kids really get into it and that one took some planning. :)
DeleteNope. Never pranked anyone...
ReplyDeleteGood for you!
DeleteI'm sure I did as a teen but I don't remember any of them.:)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure there are more important things to remember. I can only remember one I played on my mom as a teen, but it was a good one. :)
DeleteI have not played any April Fools jokes as an adult. Don't remember if I did any silly pranks as a kid. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't even remember what I did last month! Haha. I think it's a lot of fun for kids.
DeleteI've never played an April Fool's prank.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how many haven't ever done a prank! I think I was raised in a family that made up for everyone else. :)
DeleteI've never played a joke on anyone - they always seem cruel to me.
ReplyDeletejen dot barnard at btinternet dot com
I agree--so many cruel ones out there! I don't mind a little joke, but so many go too far.
DeleteHaven't played any joke in the past years..
ReplyDeleteIt seems the kids have so much more fun with the jokes!
DeleteHaven't played any April Fools prank in years. My family says the last one was when I had my son on April 1.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!! My sister is an April Fools baby, too. :)
Deleteno i haven't; i wouldn't like to be played on so i don't do it to others
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone! There seems to be a lot who don't.
DeleteI used to try to play April Fool's Day tricks when I was little but I would always giggle and spoil the joke.
ReplyDeleteThat's the best! I love the little kids' pranks because they're so silly and they have the best time!
DeleteI can't think of any at the moment!
ReplyDeleteDeborah
No worries!!
DeleteNo, not really, I never was that imaginative....
ReplyDeleteI'm not very creative! My friend's young daughter was looking up ideas on pinterest, so there's always that. :)
DeleteNo I never have.
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing and so nice of you!
DeleteI haven't but I have has plenty played on me am so gullible LOL
ReplyDeleteOh, believe me--I know all about gullible. :)
DeleteI did one as a kid with ketchup. My sister thought I was seriously hurt!
ReplyDeleteOh, dear! I hope she wasn't too traumatized! My daughter played a trick on me with cocoa powder, vaseline, red food coloring, and tissues. Some of those "injuries" sure look real!
DeleteNo, I haven't!
ReplyDeleteNope I really don't like pranks.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you! I don't mind a joke, but pranks are not always fun.
DeleteNo, I don't like April Fool's pranks.
ReplyDeleteSo many of them go way too far! I don't mind the mild variety. :)
DeleteI can't think of any great ones, but at my previous job I was a retail manager and I almost always had to close. We had this really ugly cat that was leftover from Halloween, and I used to love leaving it in the safe at night to scare the opening manager. I would also leave fake rats in the registers too.
ReplyDeleteOne year my husband turned all the pictures on the wall upside down. I woke up after he left for work and knew I was prankek, lol Thank you
ReplyDeleteNope, never have and don't think I could come up with a good one anyway!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid, I told my parents that the cat had kittens. It didn't fly, though, because the cat was spayed.
ReplyDeleteI may have played one or two 40 or so years ago but I can't remember any.
ReplyDeleteI always like the old favorite of tying the sprayer on the kitchen sink so the first person to turn it on in the morning gets it!
ReplyDeleteI never pranked anybody.
ReplyDeleteI can't do them. I easily laugh. :3
ReplyDeleteI don't do April Fool's pranks
ReplyDeleteI haven't done any pranks since I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteI have never played an April Fool's prank!
ReplyDeleteIt's been awhile since I've been able to pull one off. My kids and husband are always on to me and I can never keep a straight face
ReplyDeleteNo pranks for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the contest.
slehan at juno dot com
I have not done one in years. I use to do some in high school.
ReplyDeleteNo none that are share worthy LOL
ReplyDeleteI usually don't do April Fool's jokes, so I don't have one. They usually affect me more than the recipient, so I stopped doing them a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteNo I haven't because I don't want them played on me.
ReplyDeleteI once pranked my son into thinking he had a dentist appointment. He's so fearful of dentists. It was mean.
ReplyDeleteA few years back some co-workers and I played an April Fools Day prank on our boss. We filled her office with a ton of balloons and streamers. She could barely get inside lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't like to prank on people. xD
