    Normally I would say The Devouring trilogy by Simon Holt but it gets gory later on so I'm going to say Cryer's Cross by Lisa McMann. Thank you for the great giveaway!

    I don't like scary books. I did read The Passage by Justin Cronin not realizing how scary it was going to be. It was really good but it is gory.

    I liked Carrie by Stephen King. I didn't think it was that gory. It was more about the transformation and powers of the girl.

    I'm not that crazy over scary books. I do like Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. I guess it isn't that scary, but it's definitely a ghost story.
